We are continuing to grow our Quality Engineering team in Dublin. We are looking for another SDET II's who will contribute to developing and maintaining automation opportunities within our quality engineering framework. 

Our QE team strives to ensure high quality customer experience using standard methodologies in manual and automated testing.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Contribute to the design and evolution of test strategies and frameworks. 
  • Write automation scripts for features with key characteristics of stability and maintainability which prevents regressions in the product code.
  • Contribute to and extend scalable test frameworks for functional, integration and regression testing.
  • Develop and extend API test frameworks for microservices, including mocking external services, databases and dependencies
  • Work in an agile and highly collaborative environment with our globally distributed engineering teams, architecture, product, program, and operations.
  • Evaluate gaps in testing and contribute solutions by writing high-quality automation to increase test coverage.
  • Experience working with build automation infrastructure and contributing to CI Pipeline automation.
  • Eye for detail to test the Applications from the End user perspective.
  • Create scripts and tools to improve test efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support code quality, static analysis, continuous integration, bespoke test frameworks and other systems
  • Support project quality by adopting and contributing to suitable tools and processes.
  • Learning about PlayStation tools, systems and products

What we’re looking for:

  • 2 years of experience in UI, API and E2E testing. Test case design and automation for web applications.
  • Experience with one or more testing frameworks including Junit, REST Assured, TestNG, Selenium, Webdriver.io, Playwright
  • Experience in coding in any of the languages Java, Javascript, Python or C#
  • Experience with build automation and continuous integration tools; Jenkins, etc.
  • Experience with Behavior-Driven Development; Cucumber or Gherkin is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and a sense of ownership.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of testing commerce and payment solutions is a plus.
  • Mobile applications testing is a plus.
  • Methodical and detailed problem-solving approach
  • Customer and peer relationship focused with strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to partner across teams to inspire change.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Ability to learn new skills/technologies quickly and independently.
