Role overview:
The Associate will assist with vendor research, comparison and evaluation. This role is critical in laying the foundation for effective vendor management by providing essential support to senior team members. The Associate will participate in data collection and analysis tasks, contributing to reports that aid in decision-making processes.
This position is for a temporary engagement through our staffing partner. The anticipated duration of this engagement will vary and will be a minimum of 12 months.
What you’ll be doing:
- Vendor Research and Allocation
- Assist when required with research, comparison and evaluation of vendor capabilities
- Vendor Performance Evaluations and Reporting
- Carry out QA assessments of the bugs reported by vendors against testing guidelines and create reports of the findings to ensure accurate analysis of the testing provided
- Vendor Payment Coordination Activities
- Approve vendor timecards daily according to the DSRs (Daily Status Reports), liaising with Test Leads, Test Managers and Vendors as required
- Relationship Management
- Assist with scheduling attendance of industry events to meet with new and existing vendors
- Maintain records of proposed, declined, allocated and cancelled vendor workload
- Team Coordination
- Daily review of Vendor Management tasks
- Assisting department/individual projects
- Ownership and upkeep of regional/global Vendor headcount data points via internal database
What we are looking for:
- 1+ years of relevant experience in QA.
- Excellent analytical skills
- Extreme attention to detail and ability to perform data entry with a high degree of accuracy
- Strong Microsoft Office skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Strong communication skills/customer service mindset
- Ability to work within a team, both in person and virtually
- Positive attitude and ability to cope with changing environment
- Comfortable in working within deadlines and timelines
- Willingness to adapt and adopt new processes and functions
