Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Software Engineer II in San Mateo, CA to develop, test, and build complex distributed systems using microservices and APIs. Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science or related or equivalent, and two (2) years of experience developing, testing, and building complex distributed systems for data analytics using microservices and APIs; developing RESTful backend APIs using Java and Spring Boot to interact with databases and optimize workflows; writing distributed code in Java and deploying code in Docker and Kubernetes; creating and running queries in Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) to gather and process data to be ingested by applications; leveraging Kafka queues and connectors and working with messaging queues and persistent stores to transfer data between data sources; and creating, building, and deploying jobs in Jenkins to build, test, and publish backend and frontend artifacts to a central repository. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. Sony is an EOE.

 

Salary range: $172,324.00 - $245,500.00/year
