As a Motion Graphics Artist working on MLB The Show, you will work closely with the UI and Presentation teams to create UI and motion graphics that are compelling and visually appealing to provide the user with the greatest experience possible.
Responsibilities:
· Conceptualize and contribute design ideas to the visual style of our presentation package.
· Maintain and implement our presentation package visual brand.
· Troubleshoot assets and maintain them to stay in frame rate, memory, and design specifications.
· Collaborate with presentation team members and other teams or individuals as needed.
· Research and contribute to the production pipelines, processes, and workflows.
· Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Requirements & Skills:
· 3+ years’ experience in game development or broadcast creating motion graphics using After Effects or similar software.
· Formal graphic design or equivalent broadcast industry experience.
· Relevant software proficiencies: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, etc.
· Possess the ability to work independently, take feedback, and work with a team.
· Possess an excellent sense of graphic layout, accuracy, consistency, integrity.
· The ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
· The ability to meet deadlines and organize a work schedule in order to deliver the expected material.
Bonus Skills:
· Experience with 3D software like Maya or Cinema 4D.
· Experience working with sports graphics.
· Knowledge of and passion for baseball.
